Millicent Hill Dudley (Noonie) beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 95. She was a true matriarch and brought her Irish wit and laughter to every family occasion. Visits to her beach condo were a Christmas tradition, during which she regaled us with stories of her life and kept us up to date on the latest golf tournaments. She was always ready with a glass of champagne and a deck of cards to play a mean game of hearts. She loved to hear from her family in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois, and Colorado and embraced her iphone to text or video chat daily. During her virtual tours of our gardens, farms, and vacations, she offered advice and praise, even to our pets.
Noonie led an active life, always planning the next golf outing, cruise, shopping adventure, movie, and dinner at the Waterstone. She swam with the dolphins, pet stingrays, and greeted three-toed sloths. In her youth, she and her husband Ted, traveled the world, seeing the sights, and playing golf when possible, in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Russia, and the Greek Isles, to name just a few. On her 95th birthday, she swam in the pool and relaxed on the beach with family.
Noonie will truly be missed, but our memories and good times will stay with us forever. She is survived by her two daughters and son, Kathy, Mike, and Anne, and their spouses. She was very proud of her grandchildren: Jennifer, Jeremy, Brent, Katelynn, Rory, Josh, William, Brittney, and Mikey. Noonie was also grateful to have five great-grandchildren Liam, Mollie Moon, Christian, Austin, and, newest addition, baby Roland. Noonie will now be reunited with her beloved husband, sister, and parents.
Cheers Noonie!
