Michelle S. (Snyder) Stillman

Michelle Snyder Stillman, 48, of Boca Raton, FL died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  She was born on August 8, 1971 in Troy, NY.  Michelle graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and attended Adirondack Community College, where she received a degree in Travel and Tourism.  In addition, she attended SUNY Plattsburg and The College of Saint Rose in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education.

Michelle’s love of life and joy in serving others was fulfilled through her career in the restaurant industry. She started her career in Saratoga Springs, NY, at Sperry’s restaurant and in 1998 she moved to the sunny South to Boca Raton, FL, where she worked at GiGi’s in Mizner Park, Oceans 234 in Deerfield Beach and Frank & Dino’s in Boca Raton.  In 2014 Michelle obtained a real estate license and has worked as a Real Estate Agent for the past 6 years.

Michelle touched many lives with her beautiful smile, pure kindness, generosity, and caring spirit.   She made everyone she met feel special and this stemmed from her strong, loving relationship with her own large universe of family and friends – most importantly her husband Dave, son Will, family, and beloved pets.   Her love included all animals and especially her dogs Lily Rose and Bill Snyder who were always by her side.  Michelle’s devotion to her community included volunteer work for several charitable events including the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation’s annual Walk-Off for Cancer.  Her zest for life also included being an avid Chicago Cubs fan, bowling and golf.  On a rare day off, Michelle would gather family and her circle of friends to spend time at the beach with her toes in the sand.  

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Raymond David Stillman; their son, William David Stillman; her mother, Marcia Gibbs Stevens (Richard); her father, William A. Snyder, Sr. (Sharon); her brother, William A. Snyder, Jr. (Lisa); her sister Kimberly Reid (Jamie); her mother-in-law, Carol Stillman; her step mother-in-law, Judi Stillman; her sister-in-law, Suzanne Indiviglio (Tony); her sister-in-law, Michele Stillman; her nieces Meaghan Snyder, Jessica Indiviglio, Makenzie Reid, Katelyn Reid; and nephews Brandon Indiviglio, Michael Snyder, and Jamie Reid.  

Michelle was pre-deceased by her grandparents: John & Elizabeth Snyder, William & Ruth Gibbs; her loving great aunt, Sister Marcia Allen; and her father-in-law, James David Stillman.

Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private Memorial service will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431.  A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held later at a date to be determined, which will provide an opportunity for her many friends to gather and share their loving memories.
