Michael Louis Rienzo

Michael Rienzo, a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, met the Lord on November 20, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1961 in Elizabeth, NJ. 

An avid sports fan, Michael cherished watching football with his father.   Happy and easy going , he always made the most out of life, bringing laughter and love to every event. Michael adored his family, often dropping everything to be there when help was needed most.  No matter what, his family could depend on him; his loyalty given to family and friend alike. 

Michael came to know God and joy in recent years, spending quality time on the beach with family and fiancé, Julie Schlapkohl.  He will be missed beyond measure. 

Michael was preceded in his death by his mother, Joyce Rienzo, sister Renee McInerney,  and grandparents Louis and Alma Rienzo and Minnie Cantello. He is survived by his father Michael Rienzo and brother George, sons Anthony and Louis Rienzo, daughter Gina Kastner, and granddaughter Maria Kastner.  

Michael’s life will be celebrated  at Glick Family Funeral Home, located at 3600 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431, on Tuesday, December 3. The viewing is from 3-7 pm and the ceremony from 6-7 pm. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring and remembering him.
