Michael A. Pernetti

Michael Pernetti Sr. passed away peacefully May 9, 2024 in Boca Raton, Florida. Born October 12, 1935, and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Mike lived 27 years in Massapequa, New York before moving to Boca Raton in 1990.   He met his wife Grace (Ardito) at the Queens Garden Dance Hall and they were married for 66 years.

He was a hard worker and probably painted every house on Long Island while working as a Paint Contractor for 40 years.  He never had to advertise as he was a perfectionist and his work spoke for itself. He loved to entertain family and friends, play tennis, poker, Stratego and bocce ball. Mike was a protector through and through and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and his many friends who he considered family. He was everyone’s favorite Uncle Mike.

Mike is survived by his wife, Grace and his two children, Diane and Michael Jr.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday May 17 at St Jude’s Catholic Church (21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433).  Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum (451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton).  A luncheon to follow at Positano’s Italian Restaurant (4400 N Federal Hwy #190, Boca Raton).
