Michael Cohee Obituary

In Loving Memory of Michael Cohee

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Cohee, who entered into eternal rest after a long and courageous battle with multiple ailments that tested his body but never broke his spirit. While we grieve his loss here on earth, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord and free from pain.

Mike was a shining example of strength, grace, and unwavering faith. Through every challenge he faced, he never lost his warm smile, his quick sense of humor, or the kindness that flowed so naturally from his big and generous heart. His life was a reflection of love—love for God, for family, for friends, and for all those blessed enough to know him.

He was a devoted son, a loyal brother and brother-in-law, a fun loving Uncle and a caring cousin. Michael cherished his family deeply and demonstrated that love in countless quiet, meaningful ways. He was also a faithful and loving dog owner, finding joy and companionship in the bond he shared with Papi and Watts.

Mike’s passions brought him happiness and connection. In addition to his love for cooking, he was a dedicated sports fan. Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Steelers, the Florida Gators, and the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, cheering with enthusiasm and loyalty through every season.

Above all, Mike was a true friend—a gift to those around him. His presence lifted others, and his faith, resilience, and compassion left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten. Though our hearts ache, we trust in God’s promise that Mike’s journey does not end here, but continues in eternal life.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Jeff (Nancy), and Steven along with brother-in-law  Ted, and his sister, Jennifer (Travis). He is also survived by his beloved nephews, Tommy (Danielle), Cody, Adam, and Logan; and his cherished nieces, Jessica (Arthur), Amanda (Ronnie), and Maryann. In addition, he leaves behind six great-nephews and five great-nieces, along with many lifelong friends whom he considered brothers and sisters from his high school and college years.

We will be celebrating Mike's life on July 11th 2026 at 4:00 at Glick Family Funeral Home 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton

We find comfort in knowing that one day, we will see him again.
