Mary Jane McAndrew, 97, of Boca Raton passed away peacefully in her home on April 23rd.
She was matriarch, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a best friend. Mary Jane was loving and supportive of her family. What the family admired and will remember most about her is she was always up for a challenge. No matter what life brought her way, Mary Jane would either resolve the issue, work around it, or remarkably turn things around in her favor.
We will truly miss this remarkable woman.
Mary Jane McAndrew is survived by her children: Jeanne E. McAndrew, Mary Nash, Bertrand P. McAndew, Jr., Nancy McAndrew, Patricia Novak, Judith C. McAndrew, and Russell McAndrew, her grandchildren: Mary Jane McGrath, Rebecca Lennon, Bertrand P. McAndrew, III, Philip McAndrew, Grant McAndrew, Emily Stuart-Hoff, Mark W. Novak, Alexander McAndrew, and Nicholas McAndrew, and her great grandchildren: Rory McGrath, Kiera McGrath, William Stuart-Hoff, Henry Stuart-Hoff, Sophia Stuart-Hoff, Mateo McAndrew, Olivia Jane McAndrew, Sophie Lennon, and Jack Lennon.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Thursday, May 14th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
