Mary Jane Calin, 90 years old, slipped away peacefully in her sleep on April 20th, in her home in Boca Raton, Florida. Her beloved husband John Calin, is waiting to meet her at the gates of Heaven.
She was born on August 6, 1933 in East Chicago Indiana, and lived the majority of her life in Morton Grove, Illinois, until she relocated to Florida.

Throughout her life she was involved in numerous charitable and volunteer organizations. She enjoyed being a member at Saint Mark Greek Orthodox in Boca Raton after relocating to Florida.
She had been a member of Saint Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church in Chicago Illinois, for most of her life. Mary Jane thrived on giving and helping people anywhere and everywhere.
As well as being an avid reader, gardener, baker, and knitter, Mary Jane always loved having company and entertaining others. She loved art, music, musicals and anything related to angels.
Those that knew her, remember that Mary Jane had a special drawer in her guest room dresser, so that when any friends came over, she always gave them a gift, and a meal. She never forgot a birthday and loved to decorate for every holiday.
