Mary Elizabeth Nicotra

On Friday, October 16th, 2020, Mary E. Nicotra of Boca Raton, Florida, gained her wings at the age of 66.

Born on September 10th, 1954 in Middletown, New York, to Michael and Mary Illobre (Ott). She was the fourth of eight children ( Tony, Carol, Michael, Steve, Andy, Tommy, and Marc ). Mary was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Steve, Marc, and Tony Illobre; and nephew, Brian Illobre. She is survived by her lifelong companion of 31 years , Steven Andrew. Together they raised 3 daughters and a son. Christine (Robert) Minasian of Boca Raton, Florida, Shana (John) Ellis of Newnan, Georgia, Brent (Jillian) Andrew of Newnan, Georgia and Karen ( Gabriel) Michaelson of Coral Springs, Florida. Mary loved nothing more than being “Mimi” to her 11 beautiful grandchildren that were the light of her life. Christopher Minasian, Kariann Minasian, Noah Michaelson, John Ellis V, Kailey Michaelson, Kaden Minasian, Mia Andrew, Maximus Michaelson, Grant Ellis, Grayson Andrew, and Jacob Michaelson. To her, they were her everything. She is also survived by her sister and three brothers, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition, she has many friends she considered family.

She enjoyed going on cruises and to the casino. Mary was devoted to her family and friends and would do anything for anyone. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be at Glick Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, Florida. Services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Viewing is from 2-4pm with a service to begin at 4pm. There will be a gathering at her house after for anyone that wants to attend.
