Mary Lynn Chidsey

Age 61, died peacefully in the arms of her son Troy Michael Volker September 19th 2019 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Lynn was born September 16th 1958 in Miami Florida to Emma Louise Murphy and Harold Wayne Spiegelholder. She graduated Carol City High School and continued her education in Miami Dade College where she obtained an Associates Degree in Accounting. She recently retired after a successful 30 plus year career as an accountant with Freund, Katz, Goldston, Young & Co. Lynn happily shared her life with Doug Doethlaff her partner of over 12 years.

Lynn is survived by her fiance Doug Doethlaff, her only son Troy Michael Volker and his wife Jessica Volker, her nieces Gina Boyd, Amber Medina, Jetta Kreider and grand dog Yaddi Volker.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Lynn had a passion for traveling, the ocean, the casino, and a good time with a Dewars and soda in hand. Lynn had a vibrant and loving personality and was known for putting others needs ahead of hers. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for living.

Family and friends are invited to commemorate the life of Lynn Chidsey Friday September 27th from 6pm-8pm at Glick Family Funeral Home located at 3600 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton FL 33431. Following her memorial service, join us at Galuppi's for her celebration of life from 8:30-11:30pm located at 1103 N Federal Hwy Pompano Beach, FL 33062.
