Marsha Koch passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 4, 2022.
Marsha was born in Flushing, New York and raised in Port Washington, New York, where she appeared on the vinyl LP cover of Mac Gant and His Tennessee Dew Drop’s “Square Dance Party” as a teenager. She studied fine art at Ohio Wesleyan University and Adelphi University.
After living in New Jersey and Texas, Marsha and her husband settled in Boca Raton where they raised their beloved son, Tim, and made countless memories with family and friends. She was especially fond of visiting Sanibel Island and traveling to see her family in New England and California.
A talented artist who appreciated the beauty of nature, Marsha enjoyed a long career as an interior decorator who created memorable spaces for her clients. An active member of South Florida's design community, Marsha served as the President of the Florida Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA).
Marsha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger, her son, Tim, and daughter in law Victoria. Her kind and loving heart will never be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 11 at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marsha’s name to PanCAN, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
