Marina E. Nicolaides

Marina Nicolaides fell asleep in the lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022, just over two weeks after her loving husband Anthony of 56 years fell asleep in the lord.

Marina was born in Khartoum Sudan and immigrated to the states in 1965. She and her husband lived in New York for 32 years and subsequently retired to Florida. She is survived by her children Corinne (Dean) and Nestor (Despina) and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Evangeline, Zachary and Gabriella.

Marina spent many years volunteering at Holy Trinity in Staten Island and her current church St. Mark in Boca Raton. She enjoyed philanthropic work through her many years of service with the Daughters of Penelope and Philoptochos. Baking the Antitheron Bread for Sunday church service also gave her great joy.

She will sorely be missed by her family and friends but we know she is dancing with her Tony in the presence of Jesus.

A visitation will be held from 10:30-11 AM on Monday, May 9 at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
