Marie Moody Barbour

Marie Moody Barbour, 77, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on November 18, 2021.  Marie was born on June 23, 1944 to Durwood E. and Minnie Moody of Millbrook, NC.  She graduated from Millbrook High School in 1962.  She was married Harold Barbour of Garner, NC on June 24, 1962.

Marie was an active member of the Eastern Star for many years and was a past Worthy Matron of her chapter in Florida.  She was also a member of the Elks Lodge where she had many friends.

Marie is survived by her son Tim, wife Concha, and daughter Anna Meadows of San Antonio, TX, sister Antho Moody of Raleigh, NC, 2 grandsons Matthew Meadows and David Barbour of San Antonio, TX.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Barbour and son-in-law Chip Meadows.

A Memorial Service will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL  33431 on Saturday, November 27 from 2-4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks Lodge #2166, 1395 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL  33432.
