Dearly loved Margaret (known as Margie to her friends and family) Ede Houston, a resident of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on September 27, 2021. She was born on March 21, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Brown. She married Herbert Ede on September 3, 1949. Herbert passed away on September 13, 1989. She married Raymond Houston on August 26, 2000 and he passed away on August 27, 2005. She will be deeply missed by her sister Mary (Donald predeceased in 2014) McArthur and her loving children and grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of four children, Thomas (Deborah) Ede, Gary (Evita) Ede, Mark (Lauren) Ede, and Diane (Bradley predeceased in 2000) Cummings. She was dearly loved by her ten grandchildren, Stacy (Shawn), Steven (Tanya), Eric, Bryan (Brad), Andrew, Jessica (Troy), Stefan, Bradley (Melissa), Ashleigh (Javier) and Wesley, and her nine great grandchildren. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Josephine Sheldon and her brother Alexander Brown.
She had a love for animals and worked as a Veterinarian Technician for over 40 years. Her home always included many additional furry loved ones.
She was a great cook and her children will greatly miss her famous beef steak pie and her famous shortbread. There was never an event held where she didn't bring her shortbread.
She was deeply loved by all and will be forever missed. There is great comfort in knowing she is reunited in heaven with her dear loved ones including her furry friends Journey, Maggie Lou, and Jack. She is now our angel in heaven to always watch over us.
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Sunday, October 17 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton. The service will be streamed live at:

In lieu of flowers the family requests expression of sympathy be made to Hospice by the Sea Care Center.
