Marcia Williams Obituary

Marcia Williams died on September 25,  2021 of injuries sustained as a result of being struck by a vehicle while walking her dog.  The last thing she will remember of this world is walking her dog Mia, and we think that’s a wonderful memory that makes her very happy.

Marcia is survived by her children John Davoren Jr, William Davoren, Brad Williams Jr , Rebecca Davoren (daughter-in-law), and by her grandchildren, Diego Williams (18), Lily Davoren(18), Sean Davoren(16), Ayvan Davoren(16), Dylan Davoren(16), as well as her younger sister Cindy MacQuarrie.

Marcia was born April 29th 1948 in Watertown Massachusetts where she grew up the daughter of William and Mary Harris.  She was married then divorced from John Davoren Sr. and later Brad Williams Sr.

Marcia had resided in Coral Springs, FL since 1976 where she raised her three boys.   She was a devout Christian and member of the Greek Orthodox community, first as a member of the Saint Demetrius parish in Fort Lauderdale, and later again for many years as a beloved parishioner of Saint Mark’s in Boca Raton.  Marcia was also a tireless and integral part of the South Florida communities for those with addictions and relationships to those with addiction issues, where she is widely respected; having given of herself to help so many others.  Last, but certainly not least, Marcia had a very close relationship of love and companionship with her beloved dogs over the years: Lassie, Elvis, Theo, and Mia.

She now is with our beloved God with whom she has unwavering faith, and an undying relationship of love and worship.
