Marcella Louise Piasecki (A Fine Lady)
Marcella Louise Piasecki, born on April 29, 1943, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024. Her life was a shining example of devotion, service, and care for others, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Theresa Ridick; her beloved nieces, Julie Dibble and Joyce Brandon; and her three adored grandchildren, Rylee Ann Louise Azarowicz, Reagan Jean Azarowicz, and Stirling Tucker Azarowicz. Marcella also leaves behind her cherished grand-nephews, Taylor Todd, and her grand-nieces, Katelyn Ridick and Autumn Ridick. She is preceded in death by her son Francis Vincent Azarowicz and her nephew, Jeffrey John Ridick.
Marcella’s life was marked by her commitment to service. As a funeral director, she provided compassionate care and comfort to grieving families, and as a teacher, she inspired countless students with her wisdom and dedication. Her deep love for her community was evident in her active involvement with her church, where her faith brought her immense joy.
Marcella's love for her country, her grandchildren, and the simple pleasure of sharing a martini with a friend was well known. She was a constant source of support and wisdom to her family and friends, always ready with a kind word, thoughtful advice, or a helping hand.
Her warmth, generosity, and caring spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marcella's life was a testament to love, faith, and service, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Her memory will forever inspire us to live with the same compassion, grace, and devotion she exemplified throughout her life.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 4th at Ascension Church. All are welcome to attend.
