Mabell Carbajal

Mabell Carbajal, age 76, died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her home in Boca Raton, Florida. Mabell was born on December 16, 1945 in Oriente, Cuba to Juan and Librada Carvajal. She was raised on the family farm with 10 brothers and sisters.

She was placed on this earth to show us all what kindness, joy, and love looked like in human form. Her faith in God is a true testament to all of us. She was always the light and that shined in all that she did. She had a sweet voice and the most beautiful smile that made you smile right back.  Mabell had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed help. She touched many lives with her generosity and love.

Mabell loved the Lord, her family, cooking, and she never said no to a game of dominos.  She loved to travel and visit all her family and friends and she would go from house to house never quite knowing (or caring) where she was going as long as she was out and about.  Her nick name was and will always be Plumita Voladora. (flying feather)

She is survived by her son; Jose Lopez, daughter in-law Veronica Lopez, grandchildren Michael and Andres Lopez to whom she was devoted and so very proud of, sister Magaly Guillen and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Mabell’s remarkable, fulfilled life will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 at Glick Funeral Home, 3600 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Viewing from 10:00am to 1:00pm, Service 1:00pm to 1:30pm.

Mabell Carbajal, de 76 años, falleció en paz, rodeada de sus seres queridos, el Sábado 25 de Junio de 2022 en su casa de Boca Ratón, Florida.  Mabell nació el 16 de Diciembre de 1945 en Oriente, Cuba. Sus padres Juan y Librada Carvajal.  Se crió en la granja familiar con 10 hermanos y hermanas.

Ella fue colocada en esta tierra para mostrarnos a todos cómo se veían la bondad, la alegría y el amor en forma humana. Su fe en Dios es un verdadero testimonio para todos nosotros. Ella siempre fue la luz que brillaba en todo lo que hacía. Tenía una voz dulce y la sonrisa más hermosa que te hacía sonreír de vuelta. Mabell tenía una personalidad brillante y enérgica y era conocida por su capacidad para detectar cuándo las personas necesitaban ayuda. Tocó muchas vidas con su generosidad y amor.

Mabell amaba al Señor, a su familia, a la cocina y nunca decía que no a un juego de dominó. Le encantaba viajar y visitar a toda su familia y amigos, e iba de casa en casa sin saber (o sin importarle) adónde iba mientras estaba fuera de casa. Su apodo fue y será siempre Plumita Voladora.

Le sobrevive su hijo; José López, su nuera Verónica López, sus nietos Michael y Andrés López, de quienes ella se dedicó y estaba muy orgullosa, su hermana Magaly Guillén y numerosos familiares y amigos.

El Jueves 30 de Junio de 2022 se llevará a cabo una celebración de la extraordinaria y plena vida de Mabell Carbajal en Glick Funeral Home, 3600 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
