Lorraine Ann Teza

Lorraine Ann Teza (or “Rainbow" as she was actually known within her family), daughter of the late Mario and Shirley Teza, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the age of 63. She was born in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania and lived in Florida for 48 years.

She followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a nurse (LPN), personally giving her entire family flu vaccines every Thanksgiving. She parlayed that experience into the role of Senior Manager of Regulations Standards and Policy Development at Interim Healthcare. There she was known for her high clinical standards and accuracy. She was a loyal employee of 25 years with a strong legacy codified into the company’s practices.

Lorranie was a passionate traveler, so much so that she once worked as a flight attendant for Air Florida. She visited all 50 states, Latin America and Europe and enjoyed many cruises. She always had a good book nearby and belonged to several book clubs. Admired for her professional-level baking skills, she created stunning and delicious birthday and wedding cakes and her Christmas cookies were always the first to disappear off the platters in the family’s annual cookie exchange. Lorraine loved the holidays especially Christmas and Halloween. She almost always won first place for her creative costumes at Interim Healthcare, and was the most generous and thoughtful gift giver.

Rainbow is survived by Louise Quinon Teza, and her three children Samantha and her husband Jason Snair, and their son Flynn, her godson Eddie, and Elle; James Teza and his wife Kim; Richard Teza and his wife Tina, and daughter Emily; Christine Teza, and her husband Garth Witcoski and their two daughters Amelia and Simone; Regina Holt Teza, and her husband Bill Holt, and their two children Jasper and Maya; Jennifer Noesner, her husband Guenter, and their daughter Lucy. Lorraine also leaves behind two beloved cats, Emma and Mia.

There will be no memorial service at this time due to COVID-19. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society of Broward County at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312.
