Lois Ann Stuber (Schreiner), 91, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home.
Born in New York, New York, Lois was the devoted daughter of the late Theodore and Helen Schreiner.
Lois was a devoted mother to her sons Michael (Sheri), Gary (Kathi) and Rick (deceased) (Jodi) and daughter Laurie (deceased). She was a loving grandmother to her 9 Grandchildren: Brian (Jennifer), Chris (Lexi), Kyle (Courtney), Ryan (Corrie), Meghan, Shawn (Corinne), Jason (Nicole), Lane (Jonathan) and Jeremy. Lois adored her 12 great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Jadyn, Aubrey, Grant, Colette, Grayson, Gracie, Luca, Olivia, Harrison, Emilia, and Conway.
In 1978, Lois moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida with her husband Kenneth (Deceased). Lois was dedicated in faith and an active member of Zion ministries where she taught generations of students to love the Lord. She never missed a week of watching worship on YouTube even when homebound.
Always one with a witty comeback, Lois will always be remembered for her quick mind and sense of humor. As a young mother, Lois, never missed any of her sons’ sporting events or games cheering on the sidelines. Her love of sports continued as she was an avid fan of football and basketball, watching every Kansas City Chief’s or Golden State Warriors game she could. She was fiercely competitive and loved to play cards and games, ready to play “tiles” (aka Rummikub) at a moment’s notice.
A service to honor Lois life will be held on March 2, 2025, at 4pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Deerfield Beach, FL.
