Linda M. MacDonald

A magnificent woman who was dearly loved by family and friends, Linda M. MacDonald passed away peacefully on the night of Sunday, June 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 

Linda always lit up the room; so kind and personable, Linda could make friends with anyone. She was born in Manhattan on October 4, 1947. The oldest of two children to Isolda “Sally” and Joseph Miodini, she grew up in Queens, NY, and moved back to Manhattan as a young adult. She loved to travel and spoke fondly of her time working at an NYC advertising agency. At the ad agency, she caught the eye of an art director, Lloyd, and after one off-Broadway play and subsequent date at the Italian Street Festival, Linda and Lloyd fell in love and were married for 42 years until Lloyd’s passing in 2017. 

Linda and Lloyd moved to Connecticut and had two children, Glen and Lauren, and then, leaving the cold behind, moved to South Florida. Linda was an amazing mother who put her children first. She always supported her children’s dreams and ambitions with love and encouragement. Linda's pragmatism, positive outlook, and sense of humor helped her children navigate through life’s ups and downs, and although she is no longer with us, the wisdom she shared will stay with her children always. 

Linda’s passing was unexpected and a shock to all her family and friends. But we are grateful she left this world with joy in her heart.  

In addition to her two children, she is also survived by her grandson, Dean, and her brother, Paul. 

Family and Friends will be received at the Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL, from 10 am-11 am ET on Saturday, June 28, 2025, followed by the memorial service at 11 am ET at the same location.
