Linda Diane Feldhaus

We are very sad to inform you of the passing of Linda Feldhaus, 76 , of Boca Raton, FL .

Linda passed away on June 1, 2025 at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital after a four day stay.

Linda was born on June 26, 1948 in Delray Beach, Florida.  Her father, Herbert Turnbull Sr,  passed away when she was just 13 years old.  Her mother Alice Pool, remarried and lived to age 94.  Alice Pool was a nurse and is likely where Linda received her caregiver spirit that she would later use to selflessly care for so many others.

Linda met the love of her life Herman “Bill” Feldhaus when they both attended Seacrest High School.  After her family moved, she was in the first graduating class of Boca Raton High School.  After high school, Bill and Linda were married for 51 years until her husband’s passing.  They are now together again in Heaven.

Bill and Linda loved to travel the country and the world, alone and also with friends, often making new friends along the way.  Some of their favorite destinations were Alaska, Europe and the Caribbean with cruising being their favorite activity. 

Although initially growing up with adversity, Linda achieved the American dream by her hard work and her respect and caring for others.  Linda worked in the dental field for 49 years in the same office in Boca Raton, working for Dr Finnvold and Dr Singh, eventually retiring as an office manager.

Linda is survived by her sons  Sean Feldhaus, Brian Feldhaus, Brian’s wife Susan Feldhaus and Brian’s son Daniel Feldhaus. Linda had 5 siblings and is survived by Virginia Smith, Patricia Brigham and Ed Turnbull.  She is  reunited in Heaven with her sister June Sarazen and her brother Herbert Turnbull Jr, whom she cared for throughout his illness,  as well as her parents.

Linda was particularly sensitive to the pain and suffering of children and donated to St Jude Children’s Hospital.  Besides her love of people, Linda also loved animals and rescued and cared for numerous dogs and cats over her lifetime.  In her later years she rescued and adopted several cats to protect them and give them a home. If this calls to you, you can donate to St Jude Children’s Hospital or your local animal rescue shelter in our mother Linda Feldhaus’ name.  Thank you and may her memory be a blessing.

A memorial is planned for June 27, 2025 at 4:00pm at Glick Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL.
