Lea Menz passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 3, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born to Loretta and Frank Cennamo on April 9, 1930 in the Bronx, New York. Lea had two siblings; her loving sister Anita (d. 2004) and her brother Gregory. She married her childhood sweetheart George on November 11, 1950, and they enjoyed over 53 years of happiness before his passing in 2004. Lea is survived by her two devoted children; Bonnie Lee Corcoran, and George and his wife Debbie. She also leaves behind her five grandchildren; Jennifer, Michael, Anthony, Christopher and Michelle, along with multiple great-grandchilden.
Lea moved from Long Island to Florida in 1984 after retiring from Indiangiver Company where she was a bookkeeper and office manager for over 20 years. Lea and her husband George were members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for over 20 years where George was an usher and a member of the Knights of Columbus. In later years Lea become a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
Lea always liked to help others and volunteered at local hospitals for several years along with performing volunteer work at her church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was always proud to be in their lives.
Lea enjoyed a very active social life with family and friends. She loved to travel and see new places, and always enjoyed cooking for family and friends’ gatherings.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Monday, May 10 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 11 at St. John Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
