Laurie R. Holland

Laurie passed away peacefully with her husband Terry by her side after a long illness.

Prior to moving to Boca Raton in 1996 Laurie was a successful entrepreneur owning and operating a salon for twenty four years in Commack, Long Island.

Laurie had a keen ability to listen, respond, and fulfill the needs of her family, friends, and many others.

Although Laurie was the youngest she was the matriarch of the family, always reaching out and watching over the family.  She adored all her nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, never missing a birthday or holiday.

Laurie was the loving daughter of George and Florence Gershon who predeceased her along with her brother-in-law Robert Fowler.  She is survived by her adoring and devoted husband Terry, loving brother Alan (Bonnie) Gershon, brother-in-law Timmy (Carolyn) Holland, sister-in-laws Barbara (Jimmy ) Alperti and Carol Brown-Fowler, nieces and nephews Dara (Judd) Youngman, Danielle (Joe) Fagone, Elizabeth (Tony) Marinello, Cindy (Dave) Ceva, Jaime (Gary) Mackiewicz, Sean (Amina) Holland, Brian Holland, Ashley Holland and nine great nieces and nephews.

Laurie will be deeply missed, leaving a large void in all our hearts.
