Laura Kiely died peacefully at her home in Boca Raton, Florida on October 8, 2023. She was 100 years old. Her husband of 51 years, Edward John Kiely, proceeded her in death in 1995. Laura is survived by her three children, John Edward Kiely, Mary Kiely, and Janet Kiely Horrigan, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Laura was born in New York City to a loving family, with her parents and three siblings. She enjoyed music, dancing, and also played piano. John and Laura raised their three children on Long Island where they were actively engaged in boating along Long Island Sound. They retired to Boca Raton, Florida in 1980 and purchased a summer home in Chatham, Massachusetts in 1984 to bring their children and grandchildren together each summer. Grammy was beloved by her nine grandchildren all of whom celebrated her 100th Birthday in Boca Raton during January 2023.

Laura Kiely brought great joy and love to her family. All of us will miss her beautiful spirit, but are grateful for her long life of happiness.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 12th at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.  Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
