Kristy Jeanette Carlson

Kristy Jeanette Carlson of Boca Raton passed away June 22, 2022, as a result of a long battle with Kidney Disease. Her family was by her side shortly before she drifted off to be with the Lord. She was born to Sally and James Carlson in Janesville, Wisconsin on September 5th, 1981.

Kristy was a graduate of Spanish River High School. She graduated with high honors from Florida Atlantic University achieving a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Minor in Psychology degree. Her greatest aspiration was to advocate for the kidney donation program. Kristy was a member of the Florida Realtors Association. She attended Grace Community Church for over 35 years. 

Kristy was at peace with the sun on her skin and loved golfing, boating, the beach and most importantly, family gatherings. 

Kristy is greeted in heaven by her grandparents Alex & Jeanette Miller and Leroy & Loretta Carlson; uncle Leroy Carlson & great aunt Rosemarie Reno. 

Kristy is survived by her parents Sally & James and her brothers Cody & Casey Carlson. She is also survived by nephews Shane & Ryan Carlson, her sister-in-law, Emily Carlson, brother-in-law, Joshua Odom, her aunts Rosemarie Miller, Sue Carlson, Janet Carlson, Julia Carlson, Lisa Lavallee; her uncles, Alex Miller, Mark Walters & Michael Carlson. Kristy is survived by many of her cousins which include Lisa Pope, Mindy Carlson, Kirk and Kelly Miller, Kimberly Morrison, Rose & Luke Walters. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton Florida. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Glick Family Funeral Home from 10am – 2pm & 4 – 8pm. The funeral will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Grace Community Church. Kristy’s final burial will follow at the Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery and Mausoleum. Lunch will follow at Grace Community Church for those who wish to join and share their memories of Kristy with family and friends. Flowers are welcome to be sent to Glick Family Funeral Home.
