Kenneth Harold Suhrland, 77, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Harold and Edna Suhrland, Kenny lived a life defined by hard work, ingenuity, and compassion. He built a successful career as a Journeyman Machinist and later as a Facility Manager, earning the respect of everyone who worked alongside him. Gifted with remarkable mechanical ability, Kenny had an extraordinary talent for fixing and building just about anything.
While he took pride in his work, Kenny's greatest joy came from the people he loved. He cherished spending time with his family, whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other's company. He loved golfing, spending time on the water, and cheering on his grandsons from the sidelines as they played baseball.
Kenny was truly the life of the party. His infectious smile, quick sense of humor, and larger-than-life personality could light up any room. He was known for his directness, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need. He would quite literally give the shirt off his back to support a friend, neighbor, or stranger. Leaving an enduring impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, Gerri; his daughters, Nicole and Jennifer, and their spouses, Tim and Brian; his cherished grandsons, Nick, Alex, Drew, Quinn, and Grayson; and his nieces & nephew, Vicky, Thomas, Lauren & Michelle, along with their families: Patrick, Samantha, Benjamin, Aiden, and Hudson. He is also survived by his brother-in-law & sister-in-law Kevin & Debbie.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Laureen; his parents, Harold and Edna; his sister, Barbara & niece, Jeanne and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat & Bob.
Kenny's family and friends will forever remember his strength, humor, and the unconditional love he shared so freely. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the stories told, the lessons he taught, and the countless lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or in honor of Kenny…a bottle of Vodka.
A celebration of Kenny's life will be announced at a later time.
