Kenneth M. Romanski Sr., age 90 of Boca Raton, FL passed away peacefully on November 15, 2021.
Ken was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, graduating from Fort Hamilton High School in 1949. Building upon his service in the Marine Corp., he spent the majority of his career as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic becoming certified as a Master Technician. After 30 years servicing the appliance industry in New York City and Long Island, he moved to Boca Raton in 1987 and began working as Lead Maintenance Technician for large apartment complexes, until he fully retired in 2006.
A deeply religious person and devout Catholic, Ken believed every day was a gift from God and he relished time spent with family and friends, especially over these last 25 years. As an outdoor and sports enthusiast, his favorite hobbies include:
Watching the NY Mets
Playing golf with friends and family
Spending time with his children and grandchildren
Attending Saratoga Springs during racing season with family and friends
Traveling, especially cruises to Spain, the Caribbean, and trips to Disney with grandchildren
Spending time with his long-time companion, Betty and their dog Kenra
Ken is survived by his 3 children: Lorann (Bob), Ken Jr. (Marie), Darren (Jennifer); his long-time companion Betty, his beloved pet Kenra; his sisters Maureen and Ann; grandchildren Tyler, Kate, Victoria, Michael, and Jason and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Casimir and Loretta and his sister, Janet.
