Kenneth (Kenny) Jeffrey Koock, 78, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away at home on January 4, 2021 after battling illness.
Kenny was born in Bronx, New York on September 7, 1942. He grew up in Riverdale where he attended Horace Mann High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 1963, and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1966.
Kenny was Vice Chairman of M.H. Meyerson and Co. where he brought many companies public, and also held the position of Chairman of Angstrom Technologies. He had a passion for harness racing and was especially proud of Trutone Lobell’s triumphs.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Julian and Betty and his first wife, Phyllis (Gordon) Koock. He will be lovingly remembered by his cherished wife Cristine; his daughters Felisa (Michael) DiSanto and Jessica Koock; his stepson Weston (Elena) Cowan; his six adoring grandchildren – Phaelan, Michael, Justin, Lev, Kai and Ahva; his beloved sister Marjie (Chuck) Isroff; many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Kenny will be remembered for his immense love for his family, his love for ‘the great dog’ Riley, his sense of humor and laughter, his intelligence and his generosity. He will be deeply, deeply missed.
