Today we gather to honor and remember a woman who meant so much to so many—our mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, Kathleen Rose Wolter.
Kathleen was the heart of our family. She carried love in everything she did—often quietly, sometimes fiercely, but always faithfully. She showed us what it meant to care for others not just in words, but through action, sacrifice, and presence. Her love was steady. You could count on it. You could feel it.
She was a devoted wife to her husband, Alphonse Wolter, sharing a life built on commitment, perseverance, and family. Together they created a home where love lived—sometimes loud, sometimes imperfect, but always real.
As a mother, she poured herself into her children: Alphonse, John, Chris, Kathleen, and Anthony. Each of us carries a piece of her within us—her strength, her values, her humor, her resilience. She taught us lessons we may not fully realize until now: how to keep going when life is hard, how to love without condition, and how to show up even when you’re tired.
Kathleen was also a proud grandmother to Gage, Raven, Sebastian, and Kalyb. Her eyes lit up when it came to her grandchildren. She loved them deeply and uniquely, and that love will continue to shape their lives in ways they may only one day understand.
She wasn’t perfect—but she was real. She loved deeply. She gave generously. And she mattered—immensely.
Though our hearts are heavy today, we are also grateful. Grateful for the years we had, the memories we carry, the love she gave so freely. Kathleen Rose Wolter lives on in her family—in the stories we tell, the traditions we keep, and the love we pass forward.
Mom, Grandma, Kathleen—you are deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered
