On Wednesday, September 23, 2020 Our precious angel, Katherine "Nina" Siciaridis, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after courageously battling ovarian cancer for over 20 years. Nina fought life’s toughest battle with strength, courage, smiles and laughter, bringing joy and happiness to everyone she knew.
Nina was born on November 27th, 1947 in Kalimeriani, Greece to parents Kostas and Eleni Anthis. In 1960 she was adopted along with her departed sister Tammy Bardis by their aunt and uncle Zaharoula and Nikos Sagos, to live life in America. After moving to Goshen, New York, Nina attended a Greek concert with her family where she met her beloved husband George Siciaridis. Shortly after, he asked for her hand in marriage and they went on to spend 56 loving years together.
Nina is survived by her husband, George; siblings, Evaggelia, John and Anna; children, Jim and Elena; grandchildren, Alexa, George, Viki, Christopher and Kathryn; great-grandchildren on the way, Anthony and Thomas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her very much.
In lieu of flowers, Nina requested memorials be sent in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The information for donations is located at the bottom of the obituary under donations tab.
“We will hold you in our hearts, until we can hold you again in heaven.” May her memory be eternal.
The family will be holding a small private funeral service.
