Karl "John" Del Vecchio

Karl John Del Vecchio, 84, passed away peacefully on 8/8/2023. He was the husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Del Vecchio and they shared 60 years together.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Giovanni Del Vecchio and Julia Rocca Del Vecchio. He worked as a vice president of marketing for a industrial machinery company for the last 24 years of his life.

He was a proud parishioner at Saint Jude Catholic Church and enjoyed football, his dogs, his family and travel. He will be remembered for his incredible smile, barely tolerable dad jokes, meatballs, kindness and wise advice. 

He is survived by his wife Betty, his daughters Cheryl Nelson (Jay), Gina Del Vecchio ( John) and Annie Boggess (William), his son Kevin (Tammy), his grandchildren Josh Arntz (Mary), Jonathon Boggess,  Emily Nelson, Dillan Nelson and Wade Del Vecchio,  and his furry companions Josie and Sally. He was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Julia as well as his siblings Mafalda, William, Anthony, Roy, James and Mary.

The funeral service will be held on Friday August 18th at 10am at Saint Jude Catholic Church ( 21689 Toledo Rd. Boca Raton Fl 33433). Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to your charity of choice in  Karl John Del Vecchio’s name. 

He will be deeply missed by all he has left behind.
