June Selig Obituary
June Selig, 86, died on the morning of January 6, 2025 in Hospice Care in Boca Raton, Florida.
June was born on February 8, 1938 in the Bronx, the only child of Sylvia and Irving Weiland.
June had a successful career later in life in fashion and retail and held a number of prominent positions in the field including running “At Your Service” the personal shopping department at Bloomingdale’s flagship store in New York. She was known for her chic fashion sense and built many strong customer relationships among New York’s biggest shoppers of the time.
In 1998, June moved to Boca Raton from New York and worked in retail at the Boca Raton Resort for a number of years.
June will be remembered for her vibrant personality, humor and great style.
June is survived by her two sons Stefan and Ian Selig of New York City and granddaughters Goldie and Blair Selig and a step-granddaughter Allegra Bettini.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 8th at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
