Joyce (Myrna) Brown Harrison, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and family matriarch passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Joyce was born on February 27, 1939 in Harvey, IL to Neilson Laverne Brown (deceased) (Laura, deceased) and Elenora Starkweather Barskis (deceased) (Peter, deceased). She married Daniel P. Harrison (deceased) on October 30, 1982 in Boca Raton, Florida. She was a loving mother of two sons, David T. Price, Jr. (Robin) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Andrew G. Price (Barbara Wright) of Apalachin, NY, and four daughters, Marnie (Marian) C. Curtis (deceased) (Troy) of Palm Coast, FL, Joanne M. Dillard (Randy Wichmann) of Boynton Beach, FL, Jill K. Klein (Tim) of Jupiter, FL, and Elizabeth Taroli (Joe Trice) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, grandmother of five grandchildren, Chelsea Price (deceased) of Palm Coast, FL, Tyler Curtis of Palm Coast, FL, Brian Dillard (Laura) of Lansing, NY, Rob Dillard (Sarah Amaya) of Orlando, FL, and Alexis Haynes of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and great grandmother of Connor Price of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Joyce was one of 6 children, brothers, Neil H. Brown (Patrice) of Sobieski, WI, Thomas A. Brown (Ginny) of East Hazelcrest, IL, Peter A. Barskis (deceased) (Kathleen) of Margate, FL, and Robert Barskis (Delores ) of Marana, AZ, and sister, Carole Weber of Evanston, IL. She will always be dearly loved, respected, remembered and missed as a great person with a beautiful spirit, amazing talents, intellect, strength and authenticity, who pursued fun and was the heart, the start, and the backbone of the family she made and raised.

A memorial of her life will be held on April 27, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the Glick Family Funeral Home Chapel located at 3600 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33431, with remembrances of her shared beginning at approximately 5pm.
