Joseph James Locurto

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) James Locurto, age 42, on August 30, 2025.

Joe was born at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL, and resided in Boca Raton, FL, his entire life. He attended Pine Crest School in Boca Raton and Ft Lauderdale, where he met many of his life-long friends who were with him up to his last days. When 6'4" Joe walked into a room, everyone noticed. He was that handsome, gentle giant.

Football was Joe's passion. He was named Allstate in his senior year at Pine Crest.

Joe loved the hospitality industry and was excited to be on the opening team of Timbr Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale as General Manager.

Joe is survived by his father, Frank (Margie) Locurto, mother, Linda Good, Castle Rock, CO, fiance Destiny Lumpkin, Boca Raton, sisters, Maegan Moore, Littleton, CO, Heidi (John) Hawkins, Littleton, CO, nephew Joe, nieces Lara, Gracie and Maggie. Joe was also a great "Dad" to his three Huskies, Kaela, Chloe and Niki. Preceded in death are his grandparents, Vince Locurto and Helen Miele-Locurto who loved him dearly.

Funeral services to honor Joe are arranged with Glick Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431. The viewing is Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 6:00p-8:00p and the service Thursday, Sept. 4 at 11:00am at Glick Funeral Home.
