Jose Reyes III Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Antonio Reyes III on June 13, 2026, at the age of 47.

Jose lived life to the fullest and never passed up an opportunity to create memories with the people he loved. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Kim, a proud father to Abby and Joey, and a loyal friend to so many. Family was the center of his world, and he embraced every moment spent with those he loved.

A graduate of Boca Raton High School and the University of Florida, Jose built a successful career in IT management, where he was respected for his leadership, dedication, and genuine care for others.

Above all, Jose’s greatest passion was his family. He coached Joey in every sport he played, rarely missing a practice, game, or opportunity to encourage him from the sidelines. He was Abby’s biggest fan, attending every dance recital and color guard competition and proudly cheering her on every step of the way. He never missed a father-daughter dance, creating memories she will cherish forever.

Jose had a passion for coaching football and basketball and made a lasting impact on countless young athletes through his patience, encouragement, and unwavering belief in their potential. Many of the children he coached remained close to him long after their playing days ended, a testament to the impact he had on their lives.

He loved golf, especially Saturday morning rounds and golf trips with friends. He also enjoyed traveling and cruising with family and friends. Wherever he went, Jose brought laughter, energy, and joy.

Throughout his cancer journey, Jose faced every challenge with remarkable strength, courage, and determination. Even during the most difficult days, he continued to inspire those around him through his resilience, positivity, and faith.

Whether as a husband, father, son, brother, coach, colleague, or friend, Jose showed up wholeheartedly for the people he loved. He was a devoted son to Gary and Silvia and carried the memory of his sister, Sylvia, in his heart throughout his life.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his children, Abby and Joey; and his parents, Gary and Silvia. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia.

Jose touched countless lives through his years as a coach, husband, father, colleague, and friend. His legacy lives on in the many people he encouraged, mentored, loved, and inspired. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The Reyes family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
