John Francis Hannon IV

"We mourn the loss of our dear friend, John F. Hannon IV, who passed away peacefully at home in Boca Raton, Fl. on March 27, 2025 at the age of 65. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Dr. John F. Hannon III and Mrs. Marguerite Hannon.

John "Pizza Johnny" was a native of Northern Virginia, where he owned and operated McLean Pizza, a local favorite that he proudly ran for many years serving his friends, family, and community. He also found success as a day trader, using his business acumen to navigate the complex world of finance. His caring spirit extended far beyond his career and he was always eager to offer advice and support to others. 

In his personal life, Johnny had a deep love for the outdoors, especially Deerfield Beach, and his Bull Terrier dogs, Pippy and Happy. He was an enthusiastic golfer and an avid skier, often accompanied by his friends, “The Snowgoats.” Among other things, Johnny was a movie buff, enjoyed reading autobiographies of his favorite musicians and idols, and loved listening to the Rolling Stones.  Johnny was a very loyal fan of “The Washington Redskins”.  Johnny will always be remembered for his kind soul, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, April 3 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Friday, April 4 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach.  Burial will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park in Lantana.
