John was born in New Haven Connecticut. He was raised in Miami Beach & resided in Rio Vista. In his early adulthood, he lived in Italy, attending college and then returning to Italy several other times throughout his life for business.
Over his life, he had many successful businesses that led him to travel the world.
He has now joined his parents, Edith and Maurice Castellano, in the heavens above as an angel to watch over all of us.
John is survived by his two daughters, Jaclyn and Natalie, 5 beautiful grandchildren: Alexis, Lucas, Valentina, Max and Hunter, whom he deeply loved, 5 brothers and sisters: Bobby, Mark, Bill, Joan and Jane.
Too young to go but never to be forgotten. His accomplishments live within him and us for we knew how great he was. He worked harder than any man, in the garden, in his home, building custom homes, designing, and in business... you name it, he believed he could do it. He was a man whom everyone loved and every woman fell in love with. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to all who knew him. He knew how to enjoy life. His humor, his sophistication and his love was admired by all. John, our father, will be greatly missed.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated Friday May 8, 2020 at St. Jude Catholic Church.
