John J. Bradshaw of Boca Raton, passed away on January 17, 2025. Originally from Jersey City, John was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Marie Bradshaw. John is survived by his loving wife Renee, of 42 years. Originally from Jersey City, NJ and then Hazlet, NJ, John ultimately called Boca his home. He is survived by brother Dennis, and sisters, Anne and Maureen, and 9 nieces and nephews, and three great nephews.
John and Renee resided in Hazlet for 24 years and during that time John was active on the Township Committee, Mayor of Hazlet, and also worked for the Monmouth County Board of Elections. Golf was the second greatest love of John’s life, second to Renee. Hominy Hill golf course was a second home for John where he participated in many county tournaments over the years.
Seems like yesterday when John came home with his shiny new Mazda Miata, only to find out that the clubs were too large to fit in the trunk. It all worked out - they were placed carefully in the passenger seat right next to him where they belonged.
John had always said he wanted his ashes spread over Hominy Hill GC, and so we will do just that. Until we meet again in the fairway in the heavens…
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Keansburg, NJ on June 11, 2025 at 11AM
