Jimmy Dale Baker

Jimmy (JB) Baker passed away Monday, September 4th, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones in Deerfield Beach,Florida.

He is survived by his wife of thirty six years Cary Baker and their daughter Katie Baker.  His sisters Sharon Thompson and Lee Kob. Nieces and nephew, Jill Berki, Amy Stubbs and Jeff Thompson. Aunts and Uncle, Celie and Gus Horan and Karen Crawford.  Cousins, Brian Horan,Kevin Horan, Ami Fitzgibbon, Dave Crawford and Kim Cheever. As well as family and friends across the country.

Jimmy was born and raised in Michigan and moved to South Florida in 1980 to pursue a career in carpentry and building. He worked in residential construction throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.  Later ,remodeling and custom wood working. He later worked for a national restoration corporation and traveled across the country to rebuild after natural and man -made catastrophes.  He enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR racing, Miami Dolphins football and Detroit Tigers baseball. As well as fishing and the beach.  In retirement he enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, spending time with family and spoiling the dog.

Jimmy was a kind hearted, hard working man, devoted husband and father and will be forever loved and missed.
