Jill Ann Ging

Jill Ann Gates Ging, 60, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 30,
2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Born on March 22, 1964, in Homestead, Pennsylvania, to John “Jack” Gates and Patricia
O'Leary Gates. Jill dedicated her life to serving others through a meaningful career in
healthcare. As a healthcare administrator, she was a compassionate and tireless advocate
for her patients and a trusted colleague to her peers. Her work was more than a profession,
it was a testament to her deep care for others.

Outside of her career, Jill had a zest for life and a variety of interests. She especially loved
boating and fishing, spending countless joyful hours on the water and had a thrill for fast
cars. She was an enthusiastic NHRA Drag racing fan which was a hobby shared between
her and her father. She also enjoyed renting and riding Harley Davidson’s in the beautiful
Spring weather. Jill’s adventurous and fun-loving spirit brought energy and excitement to
those around her, creating cherished memories with family and friends.

Jill is survived by her loving daughter, Kelly Phillips, and her four cherished grandchildren:
Alphonso III “Trey”, Alexander, Arianna and Amaya Moran. She was preceded in death by
her beloved son, William “Billy” Phillips, and her parents, John “Jack” Gates and Patricia
O'Leary Gates. Her family and friends will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.

A funeral mass will be held at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Friday, December 20, 2024,
at 11:00 am. Following the service there will be a burial at Boca Cemetery.

Jill Ann Gates Ging’s legacy of compassion, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of
all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
