Jeffrey Lee Whitaker

Jeffrey L. Whitaker passed away peacefully at the age of 35 on April 11,2021.  Jeffrey lost his brave and long battle with cancer, but not without leaving his mark on this world.  He was born on June 21, 1985 – a lifelong resident of Florida and avid Miami sports fan.  Jeffrey worked as an elevator mechanic apprentice with Local 71 at Kone Elevator.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving parents Anne and Jeffrey Whitaker of Boca Raton, Fl, along with his dog Marty, who he affectionately referred to as his “special boy”.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Shirley Hayes, Dorothy Whitaker, Jerry, and Marie Whitaker.  Jeffrey also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Jeffrey will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Glick Funeral Home in Boca Raton Florida on Saturday April 17th. Family and friends are invited to gather at 12:30 with celebration of life services beginning at 1:00.
