James Edward Crim was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on March 10, 1942 to Blanche & Glenn Crim. He was the oldest son of 7 kids (4 girls & 3 boys).
He told stories of loving the great outdoors by Lake Erie as a little boy, fishing for perch and even camping out. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything in his life, in fact he was a Buddy and sidekick to them. He was always taking them to run an errand, or to eat or play cards. He had an avid love of: history, westerns, an impeccable fashion sense, the legendary 50s/60s rock ‘n’ roll, and especially the game of poker! He also had a passion for collecting antiques and other relics of history, as well as fine jewelry, diamonds and rare coins. Some people called him Jimmy, or Boca, but we called him Pop, Dad, and Pop Pop! He is so deeply missed by those who knew him & spent time with him - especially later in his life.
He is survived by his grandkids - Bradley, Parker, Zakk, Loren, Emma, Angel, Johnny, Tasha, Estella & Lucca. His great grandkids - Xavier & Sebastian. And his children - James Jr. (Eddie), Sherry, Chris, Melanie & Jason. His daughter - Talisa is with him in heaven, along with his mom & dad, sisters - Joan & Vicky, and brother - Ricky.
