Gwen Elizabeth Golan

Gwendolyn (Gwen) Elizabeth Golan, a resident of Boca Raton, Florida peacefully passed away on Thursday September 18, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard (Bernie) Golan also of Boca Raton. Gwen is survived by her brother Donald Ernst of Baton Rouge LA, her niece Katie Middleton, husband Jim, nephew Houston Ernst and grand nieces, Alice Ernst, and Charlotte and MiMi Middleton. She also leaves her Step-son, William Golan of Silverton, OR and his eight children and great-grandchildren. Gwen leaves her closest and most dear friend Carol Jezierny and her husband John and her god-children, Paul Jezierny of Miami, FL and Jocelyn Jezierny of Alexandria, VA. Gwen also leaves a close circle of friends whom she has made over the past forty-plus years during her life here in Florida.

Originally from New Orleans, LA, Gwen lived her professional life, with her husband Bernie in Chicago, IL, where she served as partner in their home health­ care business, for many years before retiring to Boca Raton, FL.

She and her husband were world-travelers and enjoyed their time together at the Boca Resort where they both played golf and tennis and found relaxing hours with the many friends and acquaintances.

Friends may pay their respects at 11:00 am Thursday September, 25, at the Glick Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, for the funeral service. Interment will be private.
