Gregory Jerry Papafloratos

On the afternoon of March 8, 2023, Gregory Papafloratos, of Boca Raton, Fl. died at the age of 91.

Born in Cephalonia, Greece, he and his family survived the occupation of his island by the Nazis.  He then left his island and went to live in Athens, Greece with his aunt and uncle. At the young age of 17 he came to America to secure the American dream.

Soon after he married his wife, Marianne and they had two beautiful children, Jerry, his son and Margarita, his daughter.  To understand how he managed to live after the deaths of his wife and two children is a testament of his faith and courage.

The next chapter in his life would be what we, his step-children and his present wife, Helen Fotiadis Papafloratos, of 27 years, lovingly call him our wonderful Papa G, Papou & husband.
Survived by his wife Helen and children Eva, David, Gabrielle Ramirez, Aleiah & Taylor, two great-grandchildren, Chris, Ameila & Alex Fotiadis, George, Michelle, Zachary & Bronson Fotiadis, we all honor our Gregory's life and greatly mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be held on March 15, 2023 at:
St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church,

Funeral Services at: 10:00 a.m.
