Georgia Puccio 78, from Boca Raton Florida passed away suddenly in the early morning hours on February 25th 2020.
Born on the 4th of July Georgia was a caring giving person who always looked to serve her family, community and country. She believed in helping others and to go beyond what was needed bringing joy and laughter to all she came in contact with.
A true believer in developing herself and those around her, she obtained her Associates, Bachelors and Master’s degree as well as Series’ 6, 63 and life insurances licenses midlife and began a second career assisting others with their financial needs. She also acted as Assistant to the Dean of the College of Business at St. John’s University where she helped shape young minds in getting advanced education and making decisions on their future careers.
Georgia played many roles including loving mother to two sons, wife to a loving husband, Den Mother for the local Cub Scouts of America chapter, Member of the American Business Women’s Association, Member of the Daughters of Penelope in New York and assisted the local Little League Baseball Association in New York City.
To those who knew her she will live on as a caring, loving, determined person who believed in others and always looked to see them how they could be and was willing to work and to serve. All while having a good time.
She is survived by her husband Charles, sons Michael(Pam) and Alex(Lisa), grandson Jonathan, sister Mary and niece Jackie.
Please join us in remembering her life at St. Mark’s Orthodox Church Friday, March 6th at 11:00 am with burial afterwards at the East Boca Raton Cemetery. There will be a viewing at 10:30 am at the Church for those who would like to pay last respects.
Georgia passionately believed in helping our Veterans as well as helping those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
