George John Lioulas

George J. Lioulas 80, of Delray Beach FL died August 23, 2018 after a prolonged illness. George was born in Samos Greece on June 9, 1938. He arrived in the United States in 1951, settled in Brooklyn NY and later on Long Island. He honorably served in the United States Army stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. George was a business owner and worked for many years as a jeweler operating his own stores throughout New York and Connecticut. 

Beloved husband of 50 years to Patricia, father to Karen and Michael, brother to Calliope and Penelope, uncle to Lynn, Marie, Ann, Dianne, Manos and Maria and known and loved as uncle George to so many others. George will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laugh and devotion to his family. He was a lifelong Yankees fan, he enjoyed playing tennis, cooking, playing the lottery and spending time with family and his cantankerous cat Char. 

Viewing and funeral will be held at St. Mark’s Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton. 10:30am viewing with the funeral following at 11am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his honor to St. Mark’s Greek Orthodox Church, Boca Raton, FL.
