George Bacalos Obituary
George C Bacalos , age 92, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024.
He was born on August 8, 1932, in Ioannina, Greece. George had one sister named Margaret. He was a devoted husband to his wife Olga Bacalos, and a loving father to his sons William and Constantine Bacalos.
He worked at the Marriott for several years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before moving to Boca Raton.
George started working at The Boca Raton Resort and Club in 1978, and continued his career at The Boca Beach Club. At the Resort, he worked as a Maitre D, and held other positions. He ended his career at The Beach Club in 2020 due to Covid.
George loved to listen to Greek music, and country music. He loved to watch sports, and talk about sports. George loved to spend time with his family. He made this a priority.
George volunteered at the Soup Kitchen in Boynton for many years with his wife Olga.
He attended church services regularly at St.Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton . He enjoyed talking about his faith to his family, and friends.
