Gary Wallace Obituary

Gary G. Wallace, 67, of Boca Raton passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.  Gary was born March 31, 1951 in Manhattan, New York, the son of Earl R. Wallace and Frenda Miller Wallace.

Gary graduated from John Marshall High School, Rochester MN in 1969.  After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served his country from June 1969 to March 1971.  He was a Viet Nam Vet.  “Ho Rah!”

After being discharged from the Military Gary attended Northern State College and graduated in 1976 with a B.S. in Business Administration.  Gary joined IBM in January of 1979.

Gary was like a pied piper when it came to kids and animals, he loved them.  He was the life of any party and a prankster at heart.  Gary was here for a good time not a long time.  Hobbies included golfing, fishing and his lawn.

Gary is survived by his wife Peggy Shanahan Wallace and son Brody Wallace along with his mother Frenda, brother Rich Wallace, sister in law Martha, nieces and nephews, his forever brothers Kenny Middendorf and Jim Link, Danielle Lowin, Koa, Rocky, and many other friends who loved him.

A future graveside service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
