It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Frank James Corsello, who left this world peacefully on May 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Frank lived a remarkable life defined by service, ambition, and an unwavering devotion to those he loved. A proud United States Army veteran, he served his country with honor and later continued that spirit of service in his community as an Auxiliary Police Officer in North Olmsted, Ohio.
Frank was a man of intelligence, drive, and many gifts. He graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown before continuing his education at Cleveland State University and Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. As an accomplished optician and entrepreneur, he owned multiple Pearle Vision Centers and tanning salons across Northeast Ohio. He also served as Director of Optical Technology at Cuyahoga Community College, where he mentored and inspired countless students who would carry his lessons into their own careers.
Photography was one of Frank’s greatest passions and professions. Through his company, Pro Photography, he captured high school sporting events for local newspapers, blending his creativity, his eye for a moment, and his deep love of storytelling.
Those who knew Frank will never forget his larger-than-life personality, his quick wit, and his unmistakable sense of humor. He was a kind, caring, and loving man whose joys included his beloved grandchildren, his dogs, his cars, and his golf game. One of his greatest joys in life was teaching his children valuable lessons, coaching them in team sports, and cheering them on through every season of life.
Above all, Frank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He and his beloved wife, Maryann (Beck) Corsello, shared 55 beautiful years of marriage built on love, faith, and family. Together they raised three children and were blessed with eight grandchildren, who were the light of his life and the source of his deepest pride. A devoted Catholic, Frank loved our Lord Jesus Christ and now rests peacefully in His eternal presence.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Maryann (Beck) Corsello; their three children, Marc (Addy), Brian (Wendy), and Kristen Corsello; eight grandchildren; his brother, Larry (Jan) Corsello; dear family friend, Margie Walls; and many extended family members and friends.
He will be remembered as an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, veteran, coach, mentor, entrepreneur, and friend. His strength, his intelligence, his humor, and above all his love will leave a legacy that lives on through everyone who knew him.
Though our hearts ache at his absence, we find comfort in the countless memories he gave us and in the enduring love he leaves behind.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
