In Loving Memory of Francine Loretta Bissiotis
Francine Bissiotis (Nee: Cagno), 83, of Irvington, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply.
Francine was the very definition of grace, kindness, and unconditional love. Beautiful inside and out, she had a heart that knew no limits. Selfless in every sense of the word, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved. Whether it was family, lifelong friends, or even a complete stranger in need, Francine always opened her heart, her home, and her hands without hesitation. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering devotion that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, George Bissiotis. Their love story was one that family and friends admired. They chose to marry on Francine’s birthday, making every year a celebration of both her life and their enduring love—a tradition that gave everyone two reasons to celebrate.
Francine was a proud and devoted mother to Michelle (Jim), Joanne (Sam), John (Lisa), Michael (Carroll), and Mina (Jason). Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured endless love, guidance, and support into each of her children.
She was a cherished grandmother to Nicole (Sean), Chance (Kayla), Trinity, Avery, John, Trevor, Jaiden, Abigail, Michael, Nicolas, and Mason, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her love extended even further as the proud great-grandmother of Jordan, Sean, and Auri, who brought her immeasurable happiness.
She is also survived by her loving brother, Vinny (Maryanne), and her dear sister, Grace (Jim).
For more than 20 years, Francine proudly served as a Florida Driver License Examiner. To thousands of people, she was simply known as “Fran from the driver’s license office.” What began as a career became an opportunity to touch countless lives. Her warm smile, patience, and genuine care for others turned routine visits into lasting connections. She often joked that she had “made friends with the United Nations,” as she welcomed and helped people from every corner of the world. No matter where someone came from, Francine treated everyone with kindness, respect, and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
To know Francine was to know warmth, generosity, and genuine love. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Her gentle spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind and the incredible example she set of how to live with grace, kindness, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on through her family, the many friends she made throughout her life and career, and every person fortunate enough to have known her.
We welcome friends and all that knew her to honor her memory at Glick Funeral Home 3600 N Federal Hwy Boca Raton, FL 33431 from 3-6pm on Sunday June 28, 2026. Services will be Monday June 29, 2026 at 11am at St. Joan of Arc 370 SW 3rd St Boca Raton, FL 33432.
