Frances B. Bitzer

It is with heavy hearts and much love we announce the passing of Frances B. Bitzer, devoted wife of 54 years, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. Fran, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, passed away on May 4, 2022 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was born in Detroit Michigan on August 27, 1946 and married her high school sweetheart, Russell E. Bitzer, almost 54 years ago. Fran loved to travel and cruise, but spent most of her time dedicated to raising, loving, helping, and enjoying her three children, Scott Bitzer, Jill Gibson and Jay Bitzer, and eight grandchildren, Amelia, Crew, Cooper, Skylar, Trent, Julianna, Savannah, and Kaitlyn. Fran is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Stewart and Barbara Royer.

Fran was passionate about life and truly lived to help others. Her thoughts were always of others before herself. You will be missed by so many Fran!
